摘要
以BaCl2、Na2SO4为原料,乙二胺四乙酸二钠(EDTA×2Na)为络合剂,采用络合法合成了均一粒径的BaSO4微球,并利用XRD、FTIR、XRF、SEM及DLS对BaSO4微球进行了表征。考察了EDTA×2Na用量、反应物浓度、反应温度、二次调节pH对BaSO4微球形貌和产率的影响。BaSO4微球合成的最佳条件为:c(BaCl2)=1.0mol/L,n(EDTA×2Na)∶n(BaCl2)∶n(Na2SO4)=1∶1∶1,反应温度55℃,pH=9.0。结果表明:合成产物是BaSO4,单分散且粒径在1.3~1.8μm范围内的微球占总颗粒数量的47.01%,产率为74.15%。二次调节pH=7.0可将BaSO4的收率由74.15%提高至87.88%,但除了获得粒径1.5~2μm的BaSO4微球外,还会获得大量亚微米级BaSO4颗粒,导致产物粒径均一性下降。
BaSO4 microspheres with uniform sizes were synthesized by complexation method using BaCl2 and Na2 SO4 as raw materials in the presence of EDTA×2 Na. The as-prepared samples were characterized by XRD, FTIR, XRF,SEM and DLS. The factors affecting the morphology and yield of BaSO4 microspheres such as dosage of EDTA×2 Na, concentration of reactants, reaction temperature and secondary adjusting the pH value were investigated. The optimizing conditions for the preparation of BaSO4 microspheres were obtained as follows: c(BaCl2)=1.0 mol/L, n(EDTA×2 Na) ∶ n(BaCl2) ∶ n(Na2 SO4)=1 ∶ 1 ∶ 1, reaction temperature 55 ℃ and pH=9.0. The results showed that monodispersed BaSO4 microspheres having various sizes from 1.3 to 1.8 μm account for 47.01% of all particles were obtained with a yield of 74.15%. Secondary adjusting the pH=7.0 could improve the yield of BaSO4, increasing to 87.88% from 74.15%. However, in addition to BaSO4 microspheres with a particle size of 1.5~2 μm, a large number of sub-micron grade BaSO4 particles were also obtained, which resulted in a decrease in the uniformity of the particle sizes of the product.
