Removal Efficiency of Chromium(Ⅵ) from Wastewater by Nanoscale Zero-valent Iron( nZVI)

摘要 采用扫描电镜(SEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)对纳米零价铁(nZVI)做形态表征,考察不同实验条件下nZVI对水中Cr(Ⅵ)的去除效果,评价nZVI处理含铬污染废水的可行性。结果表明:溶液中H+会促进nZVI对Cr(Ⅵ)的去除,去除过程符合拉格尔格伦二级动力学模型,前10 min nZVI对Cr(Ⅵ)的去除率在96%以上,1 h后基本达到吸附平衡。nZVI对Cr(Ⅵ)的去除是先吸附后还原,并在nZVI颗粒表面形成Cr-Fe膜结构。实际电镀废水中nZVI投加量为20 g/L,反应1 h后水溶液中大部分重金属被去除。 In this paper, the effect of nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI) on the removal of Cr(Ⅵ) from wastewater was studied to evaluate the feasibility of the treatment. The nZVI was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The result showed that H + in the solution could promote the removal of Cr(Ⅵ) by nZVI, and the removal process was consistent with Lagergren pseudo-second-order adsorption kinetics. The removal efficiency was over 96% at the first 10 minutes by using nZVI, and the adsorption equilibrium could be achieved after 1 hour. The main mechanism of nZVI to remove Cr(Ⅵ) was adsorption, reduction and forming Cr-Fe membrane structure on the surface of nZVI. When the amount of nZVI in electroplating wastewater was 20 g/L, most of the heavy metals in the wastewater were removed after 1 hour of reaction.
