Mg对原位合成5TiB_2/Al-7Si复合材料冲击性能的影响

Effects of Mg on the Impact Properties of In-Situ 5TiB_2/Al-7Si Composites

摘要 采用混合盐原位反应方法制备了不同TiB_2含量的TiB_2/Al-7Si复合材料,研究了TiB_2含量和Mg含量对复合材料冲击性能的影响。随TiB_2或Mg含量的增加,复合材料中的α-Al相和共晶Si细化,但冲击性能均呈下降趋势。未添加TiB_2和Mg时,Al-7Si合金的冲击韧度最高,约为14.2J/cm^2,加入5%的TiB_2后,冲击韧度降低至12.6J/cm^2,再加入1.5%和3%的Mg后,冲击韧度进一步降低至10.9和10.4J/cm^2。5TiB_2/Al-7Si复合材料断口形貌主要呈韧窝和准解理断裂,具有混合型断口特征。 In-situ 5TiB2/Al-7Si composites were fabricated by mixed salt reaction in Al-7Si melt.The effects of TiB2and Mg contents on the impact properties of TiB2/Al-7Si composites were investigated.As the addition of TiB2and Mg element,theα-Al and eutectic Si phases in the composites can be refined,however its impact properties can be weakened.The Al-7Si alloy exhibits the satisfied impact toughness among these composites,and it is about of 14.2J/cm^2.With the addition of 5%TiB2,the impact toughness of the composites is further reduced to 12.6J/cm^2.When the 1.5%or 3%Mg element were added into the 5TiB2/Al-7Si composites,the impact toughness of the composites is reduced to 10.9and 10.4J/cm^2,respectively.The fracture morphology of 5TiB2/Al-7Si composites is mainly characterized by dimple and quasi-cleavage of a mixed fracture.
