郑临川(1916-2003),湖南龙山人,著名古代文学研究专家和诗人。著有《闻一多论古典文学》《稼轩词纵横谈》《笳吹弦诵传薪录——闻一多、罗庸论中国古典文学》《中国古代诗歌史》等学术著作,诗文集《苔花集》等。
Zheng Lin-chuan （1916 -2003） was born in Longshan county, Hunan province. He is a famous research expert in ancient literature and poet. And so far he has published many prestigious works including Wen Yiduo＇ s Theory of Classical Literature, Talking about Jiaxun＇ s Ci with Great Ease, Wen Yi-duo and Luo Yong＇ s Analysis on Chinese Ancient Literature, The History of Chinese Ancient Poetry, The Taihna Collection of Poems and Articles, etc.
