走向“终乎为圣人”的荀子学习观寻绎

摘要 荀子在《劝学》中提出君子要走向"终乎为圣人"的学习指向,深入分析《劝学》全文,会发现,以"博学"和"参省"为基点支撑起君子的学习,关键还要有"学不可以已"的品格与行动,方能"知明而行无过",进而走向"终乎为圣人"。除《劝学》外,在《荀子》其余篇章中有关"学"的论述,使荀子"学"的意涵更加鲜活和丰富,荀子在《劝学》中建构起的"学"的架构支撑着《荀子》全书中的"学"。荀子关于"学"的思想很值得后人借鉴,在传统的"尊孟抑荀"的文化语境中,应多一种文化视角,来"善解"荀子之"学"。 Xunzi’s Exhortation to Learning propose learning direction aimed at “becoming sage”, through a careful analysis of the Exhortation to Learning , It will be found that the learning of the gentleman is supported by “learning” and “introspection” as the basis, and the key is to have the character and action of “there is no end to learning”, and to be able to have profound knowledge and to act without fault, and then to the pursuit of “becoming sage”. The rest of the text about the discussion of “learning” except “ Exhortation to Learning ” make the meaning of Xunzi’s “learning” more vivid and rich, and this study is from six aspects which are foundation, scholarship, politics, philosophy, human nature and as a teacher to comb the Xunzi’s “learning”, and find the framework in Xunzi’s “ Exhortation to Learning ” about “learning” to support the “learning” in the book of Xunzi. Xunzi’s “learning thought” is profound and encyclopedic, and is still worthy of reference, it is suggested that in the traditional cultural context of “praise Mengzi and disparage Xunzi, a cultural perspective is added to the ”good understanding“ of Xunzi’s ”learning.
