摘要
船山的文化自觉是建立在对中华学术史诸家理论致思、价值追求以及人文关怀等的比较与品评基础之上的,是同他自己对中华正学寻源索流、学脉传承的深度觉解以及"仁以为己任"的使命担当密切联系在一起的。而其文化自信既根源于对中华悠久的伦理文明和源远流长的爱国主义传统的坚定信仰,根源于古今夷夏之通义的精神挺立与民族认同和文化认同,又根源于对中华道统的精神建构与学统的精神开掘。船山的文化自强集中体现在"六经责我开生面"的价值砥砺和精神追求之中,希望通过人生的自强不息精神来助推中华文化的革故鼎新和实现新的发展。船山在明清易代的艰难生活中所陶铸并通过著述所体现出来的文化自觉、文化自信和文化自强精神在近代激励着不少对中国文化作传承发展之士的性灵、胸次,成为其披荆斩棘、奋勇前行的力量源泉。
