摘要
吴昌硕的绘画具有崇高的艺术品格,他的作品形式多样,内容丰富。他不但擅长写意花卉,其人物和山水画,也简约大方,趣味横生。在构图方面,书印的章法布白,像"直"和"女"字,或呈相反的对角线势,多样统一,变化丰富;在颜色方面,擅用对比与浓密厚的色彩,设色浓艳,尤善用西洋红,色泽强烈鲜艳;以笔墨作画,用封笔书写梅花,作品意境高远,不拘泥于形式的相似性,强调形象特征表现和文人画的意趣的追求。同时,在对古代绘画学习与继承上画家不拘泥于古人,勇于创新,创造出别具一格、淋漓磅礴的绘画风格,对后世中国画的创作产生了深远的影响。
Wu Changshuo has high artistic quality because of his works in diverse style and rich contents. He is specialty in painting not only plants but also characters and landscape which are usually simple and elegant, interesting and living. As for the framework of calligraphy, he designs diverse style but keeps constituent as a whole. In the aspect of using colors, he takes advantage of the contrast skill and dense colors especially using salvia splendens to express intensive color contrast. When painting, he focuses on the associative image of plum blossom and places emphasis on the image characteristic and pursuit for image without limiting its iconicity. As for his whole artistic style he learns from the ancient artists but his innovative spirit makes him form original painting style, which exerts profound influence on the creation of Chinese painting.
