西学东渐视阈下中西合译的策略模式与语言特征研究

摘要 为克服西学东渐中的语言障碍,传教士选择与华士进行"西译中述",一方面通过借用或创新等方式产生了众多的新名词,极大地丰富了汉语词汇;另一方面译述语体呈现出深浅文言和官土白话杂糅的特征,促进了近代汉语结构欧化演变趋势,增强了汉语表达的逻辑性和严谨性。尽管译者受语言能力、自身学识和身份认同的限制导致较多误译甚至错译,但"西译中述"无疑有助于时人"睁眼看世界"和对"救国良策"的积极探索,对近代中国历史进程的影响沦肌浃髓。 In order to overcome linguistic barriers in the process of Eastward Introduction of Western Learning, missionaries adopt the mode of "Translated by Westerners and Narrated by Chinese". Through methods such as borrowing, reforming and creating, many new noun words are coined, which has enriched Chinese vocabulary. Their translation language style takes on characteristics such as mixture of hard and easy classical Chinese and mixture of official and civilian vernaculars, which contributes to the development trends of written Chinese being colloquial and grammar structure being Europeanized and therefore improves preciseness and logicality of Chinese. Although many mistakes have been made due to limitation in translators' linguistic competence, their own learning and identity, this cooperative translation helps contemporaries get to know the world clearly and try to explore ways to save their country and therefore has a profound impact on modern Chinese history.
