摘要
桂林是古代广西的政治文化中心。古道是一个系统,由道路及各支持因素所构成。桂林古道在道路、桥梁、津渡的绿化和修筑维护过程中,民间力量是不可或缺的重大因素,与政府力量共同促进了交通的发展。民间力量对完善区域交通网、打破地区间的孤立闭塞、形成良好社会风气、促进民族发育、推动社会经济发展起着重要作用。
Guilin was the traffic center of Guangxi in the history of traffic development. The ancient road is a system which is composed of roads and the supporting factors for them. It is found that the folk force is an indispensable and very important factor in the development of road construction, bridge and ferries construction, and road greening. Together with the government, the folk force promoted the development of transportation. The folk force had played an important role in improving the regional transportation network, breaking up isolation between areas, forming a good social climate and promoting economic development.
