摘要
本文介绍了一种新的具有极高频带利用率的数字基带调制算法─ 1/ 2甚小频移键控 (VMSK/ 2 ) ,VMSK/2可以在不损失信噪比的前提下极大地压缩信号传输所需的频带 .将VMSK/ 2与模拟单边带抑制载波 (SSB SC)调制方式相结合 ,利用现有的硬件技术 ,可在射频 (RF)传输系统中获得近 2 0比特 /秒 /赫兹 (bits/s/Hz)的频带利用率 .本文对VMSK/ 2结合SSB SC的调制方式进行了理论分析 ,并给出了仿真结果 .数值实验表明在保证 1.0× 10 -6误码率 (BER)的前提下 ,为实现 2 0bits/s/Hz的频带利用率 ,VMSK/ 2结合SSB SC无线传输系统所需的信噪比 (SNR)为 13分贝 (dB) .
A new algorithm named VMSK/2 for base-band modulation is introduced. Using this method, very high band efficiency can be obtained without loss of SNR, which is different from other compression methods such as MPSK, QAM, and so on. By means of current hardware technique, VMSK/2 accompanied with SSB-SC can transmit data at 20 bits/sec/Hz through radio frequency (RF) transmission system. The theory of VMSK/2 is explained in detail and the simulation results are also presented. it shows that VMSK/2 with SSB-SC can obtain 10-6 BER and band efficiency of 20 bits/sec/Hz with SNR values of 13 dB.
