摘要
陈独秀在《美术革命》一文中提出了"美术革命"的观点,将"王画"作为革命的对象,并主张用写实主义改良中国画。作为"新文化运动"一部分的美术革命,与其他文化领域的革新运动一起,受到民初否定传统、全面学习西方的文化思潮的影响,只有将"美术革命"论置于"五四"语境,并联系历史上下文,才能准确推论它的正误以及历史价值。通过全面分析文中"革王画的命""输入写实主义改良中国画"这两个关联命题,可以认为,"美术革命"论是契合时代需求的,它对民国美术的发展起着积极的推动作用。
Chen Duxiu put forward the idea of “art revolution” in the article Art Revolution. With the“Chinese painting method” as the target of the revolution, he advocated improving Chinese paintingwith realism. As part of the New Culture Movement, the art revolution, together with the reform cam-paigns in other cultural fields, was influenced by the cultural thoughts of negating tradition and com-prehensively learning from the Western society in the early years of the republic. Only by putting thetheory of“art revolution” in the context of “May Fourth Movement” and connecting it with the histori-cal context, can we have an accurate conclusion about whether it is correct and has its historical val-ue. By comprehensively analyzing the two associated propositions of “against Chinese painting meth-od”and “importing realism to improve Chinese painting”, it can be argued that the “art revolution”theory fit the needs of the times, and it played an active role in promoting the development of art inthe Republic of China.
