摘要
人性及其价值一直是人类文明建立以来的哲学思考之源.在所有文明中,哲学家总是试图在追求整体发展的过程中确立人性的要旨和生活的意义.在发展的过程中,我们意识到了我们以高贵价值观为核心的一切潜能.在这个全球化以及科学技术史无前例快速发展的时代,较之生产力以及人均收入的发展,我们更需要发展的是我们的高贵性格以及基于善良意图和伦理行为的专业性和整体性.在这种思路下,我们能够意识到内在于我们的那些高贵价值,把它们看作我们信仰体系的宣言,使之对我们的整体性和专业事业产生影响.在本文中,笔者考察了马来西亚的价值观,尤其是马来西亚哲学家哈玛卡所强调的那些价值观,并从和平与发展的整体框架视角考察了共同性的全球价值.
Humanity and its values have been the source of philosophical thinking ever since the advent of civilization. In all civilizations, philosophers have attempted to identify the gist of humanity, the meaning of life, in the quest of holistic development. It is the development that enables us to realize all of our potentials that centers on noble values. In this age of globalization and unprecedented advancement of S ＆ T, what need to be developed would be our noble characters and professional integrity, stemming from good intentions and ethical acts, more than merely having an increase of productivity and per capita income. With this approach, we are able to realize those noble values that we have within us, as a manifestation of our belief system, that affects our integrity and professional undertakings. In this paper, the author examines Malay noble values, especially those values emphasized by the Malay philosopher Hamka （ 1908 - 1981 ） , underlies the set of common global values within a holistic framework of peace and development.
