摘要
美国加利福尼亚大学班克罗夫特图书馆是口述资料采集与收藏的先行者,通过网络调查、Email咨询、文本分析等方法,对其口述历史资源采集、组织及利用,用户服务,教育职能,团队构成及经费来源等方面进行分析,总结出主题范围广泛、创造商业收入、服务方式灵活、积极参与教育等四个方面的特点,继而提出落实著作权保护、开发社会资本,提供多样服务、灵活利用方式,加强专业培训、打造专业团队,注重宣传推广、鼓励公众参与等建议。
This paper chooses the pioneer of the collection of oral data——the oral history project of the Bancroft Library of the University of California,USA as research object. Through the network survey,Email consultation,text analysis and other methods,its resource collection,organization and utilization,customer service,educational functions,team composition,and funding sources and other aspects have been analyzed,such four aspects of characteristics as wide scope of topics,able to create business income,flexible service methods,and actively participation in education have then been summed up,and some recommendations,such as,implementing copyright protection,developing social capital,providing a variety of services and flexible ways of use,strengthening professional training,building professional team,focusing on publicity,and encouraging public participation have finally been put forward.
