摘要
"黄金时代"多指一个组织在整个生命周期中的最优阶段。美国高等教育的"黄金时代"出现在战后的近三十年中,主要特征表现为科技的发达和大众化的实现。联邦政府的有效干预、社会的深刻变革、经济的繁荣发展以及大学内部治理结构的完备是"黄金时代"格局形成的主要内外因素。在这些内外因素的共同推动下,美国一举屹立于世界高等教育之颠。这一历史过程及其社会运行逻辑,为世界高等教育的发展提供了有益的经验。
Golden Age"mainly refers to the optimal stage of an organization throughout its life cycle.The"Golden Age"of higher education in the United States has appeared in the post-war nearly three decades.Its main characteristics are the development of science and technology and the realization of popularization.The effective intervention of the federal government,the profound changes in society,the prosperity of the economy,and the completion of the internal governance structure of the university are the main internal and external factors in the formation of the"Golden Age"pattern.Driven by these internal and external factors,the United States stands alone in the world of higher education.This historical process and the logic of its social operation have provided useful experience for the development of higher education in the world.
