摘要
论证唐宋扬州经济时,很多学者拘泥于南宋洪迈所言,片面以为唐末及五代战乱使得昔日繁盛的扬州彻底荒废,并延续到北宋,此后扬州由于各种原因,未能如唐代中后期般兴盛。其实,自唐末至宋初,扬州经济并非简单的直线衰败,而是衰落、复振、再衰败、再复兴的波浪式发展历程。北宋扬州经济虽不如唐时繁盛,但仍不失为商业发达、经济繁荣的淮南都会。
In demonstrating the economy of the Tang Song Dynasties,many scholars insisted on what Hong Mai said in the Southern Song Dynasty. It was thought that the war in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties had completely abandoned Yangzhou which had flourished in the past and continued to the Northern Song Dynasty. After that,Yangzhou failed to flourish as it used to in the middle and late Tang Dynasty due to various reasons. In fact,from the late Tang Dynasty to the early Song Dynasty,Yangzhou＇s economy was not a simple linear decline,but a wave-like process of decline,recovery,decay and renaissance. Although the economy of Yangzhou in Northern Song Dynasty was not as prosperous as that in Tang Dynasty,it was still a prosperous city of Huainan.
