摘要
明朝初年,凤阳因具有特殊的政治地位,一跃而成为皖北地区的政治、经济中心和淮河流域的首府,城市地位明显提高。成化元年,在凤阳设立钞关,包括正阳、临淮二关。因居于水陆交通要道,二关迅速成为皖北地区的交通与商业中心,其在交通与商业上的地位超过当时的凤阳城。清代,颍州设府,打破了凤阳府"独霸"皖北的格局,给凤阳城市的政治地位带来挑战。入民国,津浦铁路通车,蚌埠城市崛起,成为皖北地区最重要的货物集散地和商贸中心。这致使凤阳城市地位进一步下降,逐渐成为一个普通的县城。
In the early Ming dynasty,due to its particular political status and flourishing economy,Fengyang city had turned itself into the political and economic center of Northern Anhui and capital of Huaihe River.The prestige of Fengyang was improved clearly.In the first year of Chenghua dynasty（1465）,two tax offices were established in Fengyang including Zhengyangguan and Linhuaiguan.Being the artery of the water and land transportation,the two tax offices immediately became the transportation and commercial center of the northern Anhui.The two tax offices even surpassed Fengyang city on account of their excellent transportation and commerce.However,in the Qing dynasty,a capital was established in Yingzhou county which brought challenges to Fengyang city concerning its political status for the establishment of the capital on Yingzhou county broke the pattern that Fengyang dominated the north Anhui all the time.In period of the Republic of China,the Tientsin-Pukow railway came into service.Bengbu city appeared on the horizon and became the most important trade and commercial and goods distribution center.The rise of Bengbu city led to the decline in the status of Fengyang city.Fengyang city gradually faded out and changed into a common town.
