摘要
作为一部以战争为题材的小说,福克纳在《士兵的报酬》中透过唐纳德·马洪这一人物详细分析了战争对于人们生活的影响。战争不仅导致了个体创伤,还在社会中滋生了集体创伤。战后社会享乐主义滋生,人们冷酷无情,在小说中,马洪这一人物成为了折射战后社会的镜子。因此,运用创伤理论有利于更好地理解和阐释《士兵的报酬》这一作品。
As a novel on war,Soldiers＇ Pay tells the effects of war on people＇s lives through Donald Mahon in detail. War not only causes the individual trauma,but also produces the collective trauma in the society. After the war,hedonism was breeding everywhere,people were relentless. In the novel,Mahon becomes a mirror that reflects the post-war society. Therefore,the use of trauma theory helps to understand and interpret Soldiers＇ Pay better.
