摘要
模糊性是语言的本质特征之一,存在于语言的各个层面。从语义模糊和语用模糊两个角度分析探讨汉英旅游文本中的模糊语言:认为在很多情况下,汉英旅游文本中的模糊语言是更高层次的精确,能增加语言的美感和文本的可读性,从而更好地实现其语用和交际功能。就汉英旅游文本中的语言模糊性,可以采取四种翻译策略:以精确译精确、以精确译模糊、以模糊译精确和以模糊译模糊。
Fuzziness is one of the natures of language. It is reflected in every aspect of language. This paper analyzes the fuzzy language in Chinese and English tourism texts from two perspectives-semantic fuzziness and pragmatic ambivalence, and finds out that, in most cases, fuzzy language in tourism texts can reach accuracy to a greater extent, and that fuzziness can enhance beauty and readability of language, and accomplish its pragmatic and communicative function better. As regards the fuzziness in Chinese and English tourism texts, there are four translation strategies: using accurate language to translate the accurate language; using accurate language to translate the fuzzy language; using fuzzy language to translate the accurate language; using fuzzy language to translate the fuzzy language.
