摘要
机动车安全技术检验制度是我国法定的车辆安全管理制度的重要组成部分。本文对我国机动车安全技术检验制度进行研究，对比分析欧盟、日本、美国以及我国台湾、香港地区的机动车检验现状，分析表明机动车安全技术检验制度是当前国际通行的制度，世界各国和地区都通过机动车定期检验制度来保障车辆在使用期间的安全性，我国现阶段不应该取消机动车定期检验制度，并对我国机动车定期检验提出了相应建议。
Motor vehicle safety technology inspection system is an important part of Chinese vehicle safety management system. The paper analyzed Chinese motor vehicle safety technology inspection system and compared it with the motor vehicle safety technology inspection in the EU, Japan, the USA, Taiwan province and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The analysis showed that countries and regions all over the world guarantee the safety of the vehicle in use through regular motor vehicle inspection. This paper suggested that currently regular motor vehicle safety inspection practice should not be abolished. Suggestions on resolving existing problems in Chinese motor vehicle safety technology inspection system were proposed.
