在对我国历史文化名城基本概念及其规划管理实践相关分析总结的基础上,以红河州石屏古城历史文化名城的保护规划及管理实践为例,阐述在新的发展形势下,探索历史文化名城保护在规划建设与管理实践中的意义与路径。
