摘要
建设于20世纪30年代的"上海市图书馆"建筑,是上海城市历史文化的重要遗存。杨浦区图书馆对这一历史建筑的修缮与扩建,不仅是对图书馆旧建筑的简单利用,同时更是对城市文化的保护性开发。民国时期图书馆建筑的修缮与扩建,是当代城市公共文化空间再造的探索,寻求了传统文化与现代城市环境的融合,也为城市历史文脉的保存与研究提供了新的实践。
The building of Shanghai Library constructed in the 1930 s has become one of the important historical remains in Shanghai urban historical culture. Yangpu Library has renovated and expanded the historical building, which is not only simply for the use of the old building, but also for the protective exploration of urban culture. The renovation and expansion of the library of the Republic of China Era is an attempt at rebuilding public cultural space in contemporary cities, seeking the integration of traditional culture and the modern city, and constituting the new practices for the preservation and research on urban history and culture.
