摘要
本文回顾了故宫博物院老一辈学者单士元先生的一生,记述了他在宫廷历史文献、古建筑研究和管理,以及营造技艺等方面对故宫博物院的卓越贡献。阐述了应该从九个方面向单老学习,如严谨求实的研究精神、矢志不渝的事业守望、旗帜鲜明的保护原则、持之以恒的技艺传承和关爱备至的人才培养等。单士元先生的品质、学识和贡献,称得上是"故宫精神"的经典诠释,作为一代师表,他身上有许多宝贵精神和优秀品德,我们要学习和继承他的风范,把故宫博物院的工作做得更好,这才是对单老最好的纪念。
Mr. Shan Shiyuan is a senior scholar of older generation who dedicated his lifetime to the development of the Palace Museum with his major academic achievements on records of imperial court history, research and management of traditional architecture, inheritance of construction technology and so forth. He is the distinguished model representing the spirit of The Palace Museum with his noble character, scholarly attainments and remarkable contribution. The thesis calls on people to learn from Mr. Shan Shiyuan in nine aspects concerning his respectable personality, serious and realistic research attitude, persistent career pursuit, consistent stand for culture protection and inheritance of traditional techniques as well as his concern about talent cultivation.
