摘要
为了解理工科学生在专业文本中识别和采集专业语块的能力和特点,以车辆、电气、计算机3个专业不同年级但英语程度接近的12位学生为研究对象,对他们采集词级层次的专业语块实践进行分析。研究结果表明:研究对象专业语块采集的有效性相当,专业语块采集能力相近;采集语块的类别与其专业、性别相关,所采集语块的类别反映了研究对象的专业特征,男女生人均采集数量差异较大,具体体现在名名搭配和名动搭配两个语块类别上。
To find science students' competence and traits in technical lexical chunks collection,the paper conducted a mini-study on English Chinese technical lexical chunk collection by 12 students with similar English proficiency in different science majors.Their collection applies to chunks in word level other than syntax level.The statistic findings show that these students have similar competence in identifying lexical chunks that have similar effect.Further chi-square independence test indicates that types of the chunk collected have significant relationship with collectors' majors and genders,and noun-noun type and noun-verb type among the collection carry a major gender difference in terms of individual counts' submission is characteristic of Three program features are reflected through the chunk categories.
