摘要
本文在各家研究基础上,将季姬方尊铭中的"■"改释作"畝(畮)",为"畝"的形体发展提供了更完整的线索;并对"畮臣"一语的用法做了进一步申述,认为其意为治田亩之臣。
Building on previous research, the author reads the character in the square zun of Jiji as mu（畝/畮）, ＂fields.＂ This shows a complete line of development for the form of the character mu畝. The author further discusses the use of the term mu chen 畝臣, ＂field slave,＂ meaning slaves who cultivated the fields.
