城市流浪犬数量逐年增加,与犬的意外妊娠有直接或者间接的关系,及时有效地终止这些犬的妊娠,将能有效降低社会上流浪犬的数量。本文探究了前列腺素在犬终止妊娠技术方面的作用效果。试验以3例临床受孕母犬作为研究对象,按照体重分别注射0.035、0.07和0.25 m L/kg前列腺醇钠注射液,观察妊娠犬后续的精神状况和食欲,并监测体温、呼吸和脉搏的变化,评价前列腺醇钠在犬的安全性和终止妊娠的作用。结果：注射0.035 m L/kg剂量母犬无明显可见临床反应,10 d后顺利产下1只仔犬,该仔犬于产后3 d死亡;注射0.07 m L/kg剂量母犬在用药后立即出现呼吸、脉搏加速和呕吐现象,并于注射药物的第27天产下5只健康仔犬;注射0.25 m L/kg剂量的母犬,注射后立即出现强烈的副作用,表现为口腔分泌大量唾液,呼吸、脉搏加速和持续呕吐等,注射后42 min开始出现努责,84 min后排出1个死胎,之后24 h内又分3次先后产出5个死胎。本次试验表明,低剂量前列腺醇钠注射液较安全,但是终止妊娠作用不强,而0.25 m L/kg的剂量可以很快终止妊娠,但是副作用较大,因此在使用前列腺醇钠注射液终止犬妊娠时要特别注意剂量的选择,设法降低它的副作用。
Stray dogs are increasing by year in the city, which is directly or indirectly related with accidental pregnancy in stray bitches. Timely and effective prevention of pregnancy in those female dogs may help reduce the number of stray dogs. This article was to investigate the effect of prostaglandin on terminating canine pregnancy. Three pregnant bitches were used as research subjects and were injected with prosta- glandin sodium at doses of 0. 035, 0. 07 and 0. 25 mL/kg （according to the weight of the dogs） respectively. Then, the dogs＇ mental condi- tion and appetite were observed, and changes in their body temperature, respiration and pulse were detected and recorded. The results showed that 0. 035 mL/kg treatment had no significant effect on the female dogs who gave birth to a puppy 10 days later which then died three days later; injection of 0. 07 mL/kg resulted in quicker breath and pulse in the bitch, and in its vomit. On 27th day later, it gave birth to five healthy puppies. Application of 0. 25 mL/kg caused the bitch to immediately secrete a large amount of saliva, in addition to the above clinical symptoms. 42 m later, the stray dog began straining, and 84 m later it delivered a dead fetus; and 24 h later it discharged five stillborn fetu- ses. Therefore, prostaglandin could be used to terminate pregnancy in bitch but with appropriate dosage so as to minimize its side effect on bitches.
