Effect of Hot Extrusion on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Mg-6Zn-0.8Zr-1.5Nd-0.5Cu Alloy

摘要 对Mg-6Zn-0.8Zr-1.5Nd-0.5Cu合金铸态及挤压态的组织、力学性能进行研究。结果表明:热挤压后合金的微观形貌由铸态时等轴晶状变为沿挤压方向的长条状,并在晶界处伴有黑色析出相。热挤压后合金的力学性能得到提高,抗拉强度和屈服强度分别提高到302、292 MPa;抗压强度和压缩屈服强度分别达到485、357 MPa。 The microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-6Zn-0.8Zr-1.5Nd-0.5Cu alloy as cast and extruded were investigated. The results show that the morphology of the alloy after extrusion changes from equiaxed grains as cast to strip gr ain distributing along the extrusion direction. The black precipitated phases appear along the grain boundary. The mechanical properties of the alloy after hot extrusion improves. The tensile strength and yield strength increase to 302 MPa and 292 MPa, respectively. The compressive strength and compressing yield strength increase to 485 MPa and 357 MPa, respectively.
