摘要
英语通过广采博收外来语扩大自身词汇量,英语中的汉语借词反映了汉语及中国文化对英语和西方文化的影响。本文主要分析了现代英语借用汉语借词的方式、语言文化特征,揭示了英语中汉语借词发展变化的趋势及其语义理据。
Loanwords from different languages reflect the communication,integration and interaction between languages,while Chinese borrowings in English reflect the influence of Chinese and Chinese culture upon the Western culture.This thesis mainly analyses the borrowing form,language culture characteristics of the Chinese borrowings,thus brings light to the developing tendency of the Chinese borrowings in English as well as the semantic reasons.
