摘要
从时间上来看,社会儒学既是一种现代的儒学形态,也是一种未来的儒学形态;从空间上来看,社会儒学是以全球社会作为存在与发展场域的儒学形态。就后者而言,社会儒学与杜维明关于儒学第三期发展的目标是走向全球的判断形成了某种对话。不仅如此,就本质向度而言,杜维明的理路暗合于笔者所提出的"社会儒学"概念,即:社会儒学是一种关于儒学与自由主义关系的特殊理解。于是,杜维明所代表的现代新儒学也就可以理解为社会儒学的一种表现形式。
From the time point of view,Social Confucianism is not only a modern form of Confucianism,but also a future form of Confucianism.From the space point of view,Social Confucianism is a Confucian morphology based on the existence and development of the global society.In terms of the latter,it could bring some communication between Social Confucianism and Du Weiming on Du's predication that the goal of the third period of Confucianism is going global.Furthermore,in essence dimension,Du's inner theoretical logic coincides with the Social Confucianism conception proposed by the author,that is to say,Social Confucianism is a kind of special understanding about the relationship between Confucianism and Liberalism.Based on it,the modern Neo-Confucianism also can be understood as a form of Social Confucianism.
