摘要
铝基复合材料通常采用液态挤压成形。本文针对硼酸铝晶须增强铝基复合材料的液态挤压过程,分析了铝合金基体温度、模具温度、保压时间以及冷却速率四个重要的工艺参数对液态挤压铝基复合材料质量的影响,得到了工艺参数与液态挤压铝基复合材料质量的关系。结果表明:对液态挤压以6061铝合金为基材的硼酸铝晶须增强铝基复合材料,其最佳的工艺参数为模具预热温度430~500℃,铝合金基体温度690~730℃、保压时间20~30 min、冷却速率1.4~1.6℃/min。制件的气孔率0.24%~0.78%,抗拉强度最大达到240 MPa,伸长率达到12.3%。该研究结果能为铝基复合材料液态挤压工艺参数优化提供参考。
Aluminum matrix composites are usually formed by liquid extrusion. Aiming at the liquid extrusion process of aluminum matrix composites reinforced by aluminum borate whisker, the influences of four important parameters(matrix temperature, die temperature, holding time and cooling rate) on the quality of liquid extrusion aluminum matrix composites were analyzed. The relationship between technological parameters and the quality of liquid extrusion aluminum matrix composites was obtained. The result shows that, for aluminum matrix composites reinforced by aluminum borate whisker with6061 aluminum alloy as base material during liquid extrusion,its optimum technological parameter are that preheating temperature is 430-500℃, the temperature of aluminum alloy matrix is 690-730℃, pressure maintaining time is 20-30 min,and the cooling rate is 1.4-1.6℃/min. The porosity of the parts is 0.24-0.78%, the maximum tensile strength, reaches240 MPa, and the elongation is 12.3%. The results can provide reference for the optimization of liquid extrusion process parameters of aluminum matrix composites.
