摘要 高效调制技术可以最大化消除背景噪声对紫外光通信的影响,从而有效提高紫外光通信距离。因此,提出了一种适用于无线紫外光通信的偏振差分脉冲位置调制(PDPPM)方法,该方法利用圆偏振光可以分解成两路正交线偏振光,两路正交的线偏振光构成了原始信息的差分信号,有用信息为双极性差分信号传输信息;给出了PDPPM的实现结构,并对其误码率性能进行了分析比较。实验结果表明,PDPPM解调信噪比比脉冲位置调制(PPM)提高2d B左右,在紫外光远距离通信上具有优异的性能。 High efficiency modulation technology can eliminate the influence of background noise to ultravio- let communication maximally, which effectively improve the distance of ultraviolet communication. So a po- larization differential pulse position modulation (PDPPM) method for wireless ultraviolet communication is proposed in this paper, the method utilizes circularly polarized light which can be divided into two orthogonal polarization lines, which constitutes a differential signal of the original information, useful information is the transmission information of bipolar differential signal. The implementation structure of PDPPM is given, the BER performance of the demodulation is analyzed and compared, the results show that the signal-to-noise ratio of the demodulation is about 2dB higher than that of pulse position modulation (PPM), it has excellent properties in ultraviolet communication.
