摘要
一、前言消费市场上高清数字节目的推广和专业领域里大容量数据存储的需求,都要求光盘系统具有更大的存储容量。目前,Blu-ray Disc(BD)逐渐成为了电子消费市场的主流光盘产品。
An evolutionary way to increase capacity for the Blu-ray Disc (BD) is to increase the number of layers from two to more layers.A key aspect of multi-layer discs as an attractive extension is that the drive technology should remain close to conventional drive technology.In this paper the issues involved in the drive design for multi-layer Blu-ray Disc are investigated.The layer thickness correction and signal to noise ratio are discussed.Furthermore the layer cross-talk is experimentally investigated.The cross-talk from data on other layers and the consequences of the layer cross-talk for the radial push-pull signal of the main spot and the satellite spots are addressed.It is found that a simple drive design is still possible,provided that for radial tracking only the main spot is used.
