摘要
中央文献翻译工作者的初心和使命是阐释好中国理论,传递好中国观念。以党的十九大报告英文翻译为例,介绍了译者作为一个团队是如何理解和践行作为传播者、阐释者和劝说者的身份和立场的过程。在翻译的过程中要增强政治意识、时代意识、历史意识和效果意识,并根据政治文献的特点采取相应的翻译策略。
The mission of CPC documents translators is to expound and communicate Chinese theories,principles and policies to foreign readers.Based on the translation of the 19th CPC National Congress documents,this paper exemplifies the translator’s position of communicating,explaining and persuading.In the process of translation,the translator needs to increase the consciousness of politics,history,times and readers,and adapt the translation tactics to the features of ducuments.
