摘要
通勤因素是城市蔓延的重要影响因素。文章在对城市私人交通和公共交通影响城市蔓延的内在机制进行理论分析的基础上,通过构建城市私人交通和公共交通影响城市蔓延的计量模型,对我国65个大中城市2009—2013年的面板数据进行分析,实证检验了城市私人交通和公共交通对城市蔓延的影响。研究结果表明:①私人交通显著地推动了城市蔓延。②公共交通对城市蔓延具有明显的抑制作用。③现阶段我国私人交通对城市蔓延的推动作用超过了公共交通对城市蔓延的抑制作用。基于研究结论,提出了相应的政策建议。
Commuting is an important factor that has effect on urban sprawl. This paper makes a theoretical analysis on the mechanism that private transport and public transit affect urban sprawl, then empirically tests the impacts of urban transport on urban sprawl using panel data from 65 large and medium-sized cities in China during 2009-2013 based on the established econometric model. The results show that:l)private transport dramatically promotes urban sprawl; 2) public transit has negative effect on the urban sprawl; 3)nowadays, the positive effect of private transport on urban sprawl overtakes the negative effect of public transit on urban sprawl in China. Based on the conclusion of research, this paper points out some corresponding policy suggestions.
