摘要
20世纪的西方美学史,是从挣脱自柏拉图到黑格尔所锻造的古典美学之形上锁链开始的。美学家们以个体审美感受为起点,从艺术品鉴出发,开辟了通向新世纪的美学征程。随着理论自身逻辑的演进,形形色色关注审美经验的新兴美学流派,又不可避免地渐次汇入到哲学思辨的王国。但是,艺术与美学的严整理论体系早已分崩离析。于是,"体系论"幻灭后美学史如何可能,美学史的"总体性描述"之合理性及其局限便成了"重写美学史"所必须面对的问题。纵观20世纪繁杂的美学史,我们发现,采用"百科全书体"并辅以"散点透视法"或许不失为一种行之有效的述史策略。这种美学史写作的范式转换值得探究与思考。
The history of western aesthetics in the twentieth century began with the break- ing of the chain of classical aesthetics that was forged from Plato to Hegel. Estheticians be- gan with individual aesthetic experience and art appreciation and opened up the aesthetic journey to the new century. With the evolution of the logic of the theory, various emerging aesthetic schools which focused on aesthetic experience, were inevitably gradually converged into the realm of philosophical speculation. However, the rigorous theoretical system of art and aesthetics had already fallen apart, so after the disillusionment of the "System Theo- ry", how the history of aesthetics can be possible, and what the rationality and limitations of the "general description" of the history of aesthetics are became the problems that we must face in "rewriting the history of aesthetics" . Taking a wide view of various schools of aesthetics in the 20th century, we find that adopting the "Encyclopedic Style" along with the "Cavalier Perspective" may be an effective strategy to describe the history of aesthetics in the 20th century, and this paradigm shift in the writing of history of aesthetics is worth exploring and thinking.
