摘要
网络功能虚拟化实现了网络功能与专属硬件平台的分离,增强了网络对服务请求的适应性,促进了硬件资源的共享,可以提高底层网络资源的利用率。虚拟网络功能无法满足电信级业务的可靠性需求,为了增强软件定义网络功能的服务可靠性,VNF服务节点需要冗余热备份。但是,节点备份需要较大的资源开销,降低了底层网络资源的效率。保证服务可靠性的前提下为了降低虚拟化网络功能节点备份的资源开销,提出一种新型的VNF节点备份机制PBSE。实验结果表明,与传统的备份机制相比,该方法降低了备份资源开销,提高了服务请求的接受率。
Network Function virtualization(NFV) realizes the separation of network functions from exclusive hardware platform,which can enhance the adaptability of network to service request,facilitate the sharing of hardware resource and improve the utilization of underlying network resources.However,virtualization network function(VNF) can't meet the reliability requirement of telecom grade business.In order to improve the reliability of network service based on software defined function,VNF nodes need redundancy hot backup.But,a larger resource overhead will be required for node backup,which reduces the efficiency of underlying network resources.In order to reduce the resource overhead of node backup for VNFs while guaranteeing the reliability requirement of telecom grade service,a novel backup mechanism of VNF nodes named PBSE is put forward in this paper.Experiment results show that the backup overhead can be reduced and the acceptance rate of service request can also be improved compared with the traditional backup mechanisms.
