摘要
中国高等教育已经迈入了大众教育的阶段,学生的基础差异越来越大。传统的双语教学模式已不再适应这种变化。本文以制浆造纸专业英语教学为例,首先强调了双语教学的地位和制浆造纸专业英语教学的必要性,然后分析了大众教育的新情况和传统制浆造纸专业英语教学存在的问题,最后指出建立逐步过渡的专业英语教学模式要适应大众教育阶段不同学习能力的学生,做到因材施教。
China’s higher education has entered the stage of mass education, and the basis for students is getting bigger and bigger. The traditional bilingual teaching mode has not adapted to this change. Taking pulp and paper English teaching as an example, this paper firstly emphasizes the status of bilingual teaching and the necessity of English teaching in pulp and paper making. Then it analyzes the new situation of mass education and the existing problems in the traditional English teaching of pulp and paper making. Finally, The establishment of a gradual transition of the professional English teaching mode is to adapt to different stages of the public education of students learning ability, to teach in accordance with their aptitude.
