《百年不孤》超越了乡土文学以倡扬或反思革命文化和阶级斗争为宗旨的乡绅形象塑造,采取融合革命历史与挖掘生活内涵的叙事路径,展开乡土知识分子的人生轨迹,在整体把握乡绅群体命运的基础上,深入挖掘和呈现乡土人文结构和生活意境。作品将乡绅置于家族、乡族和国族共同构成的时代环节和历史细节中,探索和重塑其多面性,进而揭示乡绅的价值持守和历史命运。小说以人性的视角发掘主要人物在历史变迁中的思想转变和道德持守,有效地将作品意涵拓展到人格探索和人性建构的层面;同时,小说深入挖掘生活细节,展示乡村日常情态,从而获得建构审美意蕴的深度和探索生活境界的广度。
On the construction of the country gentlemen＇s image,the novel One Hundred Years of Insolitude carves a new path that differs from the ones that focus on praising or reflecting on the revolutionary culture and class struggle. It places this group at the nexus of the family,the country and the nation to explore the multifacetness,core values and fate of this special group of people. In delving the main characters＇ insistence of morality in the vicissitude of history, the novel detailedly demonstrates the country gentlemen＇s personality and nobility.Meanwhile,it also fully illustrates the everyday life in the country,and therefore achieves the depth in aesthetic connotation and the width in explorations on the realm of life.
