摘要
"左右"由两个语义相反的名语素"左"和"右"通过连用而逐步固化成一个词。副词"左右"既可以表时间,也可以表语气,后者比前者语法化程度更高且伴随着主观化。从认知角度看,概念结构的隐喻是"左右"从概数词成为时间副词"迟早、早晚""反复"的根本机制,而转喻是"左右"从名词成为语气副词"横竖、反正"的内在动因。语气副词"左右"加强主观化所采取的言语交际策略:一是变换"左右"的句法位置,二是丰富"左右"使用的语言环境。
Zuo You is gradually solidified into one word by using two semantic elements Zuo and You with opposite semantics. The adverb Zuo You can not only express time, but also express their modal. The latter is more grammatical and subjective than the former. From the perspective of cognition, the metaphor of concept structure is the basic mechanism of Zuo You from the concept that the numeral word becomes ＂ some day or other＂ ＂repeatedly＂, metonymy is the Zuo You internal motivation. The modal adverb Zuo You reinforces the verbal communication strategy adopted by subjectivization： one is to change the syntactic position of Zuo You; the other is to enrich the linguistic environment used by Zuo You.
