摘要
曾国藩曾组建湘军、剿灭太平天国起义,为"同治中兴"的产生创造了有利环境,堪称晚清中兴名臣,但曾国藩与满清朝廷之间仍存有矛盾,矛盾的产生既是日益增长的绅权与皇权的冲突所至,也受到满汉长期以来民族矛盾的影响,也在于曾国藩"不适时宜"要官。
Zeng Guofan,a famous modern Chinese politician,used to establish the Xiang Army and exterminate the Taiping rebellion,creating a favorable environment for the generation of Tongzhi Restoration. He could be called as a famous official in the Zhongxing period of the late Qing Dynasty. But there are still contradictions between Zeng Guofan and the Manchu Qing court,and the generation of the contradiction is subject to the conflicts between the growing gentry and the imperial power,and the influence of the long-standing national contradiction between the Manchu minority and the Han nationality,and also Zeng Guofan's inappropriate angle for official positions.
