静冈县首间县立自然科学博物馆屹立的位置,正是静冈南高中的旧校址。博物馆间格充分利用空置校园及现有的学校家具,旧学生枱底对顶、顶对底被迭成一个个展覧柜。展覧模拟真实课室的情况,黑板上写着各个展品的解说。整个自然科学博物馆由空置学校改建而成,正正完美示范可持续发展的意义。
At the site of the former Shizuoka Minami High School stands the prefecture＇s first-ever prefecture-owned natural science museum. The spatial configuration makes use of a vacant school and the school＇s existing furniture, old school study desks are stacked top-to- bottom, bottom-to-top to form unique exhibit cases. The exhibits are produced to be reminiscent of classes held in classrooms. Explanatory graphic shown on the blackboard show the connections and relationships of the rows of skeletal specimens. The restoration of the abandoned＂ school per se is the epitome of sustainable society for a museum themed on environmental history.
