作为当代艺术宝库，旧金山现代艺术博物馆走过82年历程迎来了今日的辉煌。博物馆承蒙无数藏家慷慨捐赠，得以累积无数伟大藏品，举办了无数不同凡响的展览，在当代艺术领域扮演越来越重要的角色。博物馆勇于担当社会责任，为提高公众审美素养和提升公众艺术教育质量，开展多项艺术活动，在艺术教育方面做出了不懈努力。
As a leading repository of contemporary art works, over a span of 82 years, SFMOMA has brought itself into a Golden Age. Thanks to those countless generous collectors＇ donations, SFMOMA accumulated innumerable great works gradually. It held numerous significant exhibitions, and plays a more and more important role in the area of contemporary art. SFMOMA is willing to assume social responsibility. It launched art campaign and educational programs with an aim of improving the aesthetic ability and artistic educational quality of public, making a lasting contribution to artistic education.
