An Investigation of Information Technology Strategic Alignment Model in the Big Data Environment

摘要 [目的/意义]大数据近期已经成为业界和学术界关注的重点,越来越多的企业开始寻求通过对于大数据分析的投资来获得竞争优势。旨在探索大数据与商业的战略结合从而实现大数据应用的战略价值。[方法/过程]首先回顾大数据对于企业在战略层次的影响。在对不同的商业与信息技术战略匹配模型进行比较分析的基础上,提出大数据应用环境下商业信息技术战略匹配模型。最后,通过三个案例分析详细阐述在不同情况下,大数据技术与商业战略匹配的不同模式,以及相应的实现大数据应用战略价值的不同过程。[结果/结论]分析并提出了在大数据环境下商业与信息技术战略匹配模型。该模型阐释了大数据与商业不同的匹配方式,并进一步体现了相应的大数据应用战略价值不同的实现过程,强调了战略匹配的动态内涵。提出的大数据环境下商业信息技术战略匹配模型不仅在理论上更新了现有的商业信息技术匹配模型,使其更利于大数据应用的分析,而且对于促进企业在实践中实现大数据应用的战略价值也有一定的作用。 [ Purpose/significance] Big Data has recently turned to be the fncus of academic and corporate investiga- tion. More and more enterprises are paying attention to achieve competitive advantages through investment on big data. This paper aims to investigate the strategic alignment of big data and business so as to achieve the strategic value of big data in or- ganizations. [ Method/process] The paper firstly gave a brief review on the impacts of big data use on the organizations at a strategic level. On the basis of the comparison and analysis of IT strategic alignment models in prior literature, this paper proposed a new IT strategic alignment model in the big data environment. Finally, this paper analyzed different types of a- lignment in Ihe proposed strategic alignment model and elaborated various processes of achieving strategic impacts of big data correspondingly based on real cases. [Result/conclusion] This paper has proposed an IT strategic alignment model in the big data environment which eonsiders the co-evolutionary dynamics nature of alignment. This model also presents different types of alignment and further indicates the various processes to achieve the strategic value of big data. It has improved the 1T strategic alignment models in literature theoretically in order to facilitate the big data analysis. Moreover, the proposed a- lignment model also has important implications for the achievement of the business value of big data in practice.
