摘要
"游"是中国古代士人一种重要的生活样式。孔子年轻时的游学和晚年周游列国的远游形态,奠定了中国传统文化中"游"的范式,而司马迁一生中几次重大的经游,也极大地丰富了"游"的传统。孔子之游与司马迁之游,都具有强烈的实用目的,都带有明显的政治取向,但又有极大的区别。在范围上,孔子周游列国主要局限于中原大地,而司马迁游历的范围之广、跨度之大远超过孔子;从"游"的特质来看,孔子周游是一次行道弘道的政治之游,司马之游则在建构与宏阔昂扬的时代相应的大一统的文化精神。两位圣人的"游",为后代士人的游历树立了学习的榜样。
“Travel” is an important life style of the ancient Chinese scholars. The way Confucius traveled for study when he was young and the travel through several states in his later years both laid the example of travel in Chinese traditional culture. Several major travels in Sima Qian, s life also greatly enriched the tradition of “travel”. When comparing the travels of Confucius and SimaQian, both of them had strong practical purpose and obvious political orientation. On the other hand, there were great differences between them. Confucius ' travels mainly limited in north-central China, but Sima Qian ' s travel was much greater than the Confucius on the scope; from the characteristics of 'traver', Confucius' travel was a political tour in which he promoted his own political philosophy, but the travel of Sima was trying to build the grand unified cultural spirit which could keep pace with the epoch. The “travell” of the two saints set good examples for the later scholars.
