摘要
《死水微澜》是李劼人的代表作,同时也是一部极具区域文化品格的长篇小说。但是长期以来,《死水微澜》一直被学界所冷落;而冷落它的主要原因,又无非是环境、人物和事件都不够"典型"。由于现实主义的"典型论",过于强调文学审美的共性原则,如果我们不彻底打破这种僵化思维模式,重新去正视文学审美的特殊性,像《死水微澜》之类的优秀作品,是很难进入到文学经典之列的。
Stagnant Water in Ripple is Li Jieren' s magnum opus as well as a novel with regional cultural features. However, Stagnant Water in Ripple has been ignored by researchers for a long time mainly because the environment, characters and incidents are not typical enough. The typical theory of realism overemphasizes the common principle of literature aesthetic. If we do not break this rigid thinking thoroughly, and acknowledge anew the particularity of literature aesthetic, the excellent works like Stagnant Water in Ripple will have no chance to enter the rank of literary classics.
