Detection of 7 elements in tap water from 46 residents in Shanghai

摘要 目的研究自来水水管、水龙头材质、过夜及装修年代等因素对自来水微量元素的影响。方法利用电感耦合等离子体(ICP-MS)检测技术,对上海市随机46户居民自来水中的微量元素进行检测,分析水管材质、水龙头材质、过夜等因素对微量元素的影响。结果通过对自来水检测分析,所有自来水检测结果符合饮用水国家标准。但是以下这些因素会导致自来水某些元素含量增高:过夜自来水、PVC管、镀锌管;PVC、铁质涂漆水龙头及某些黄铜、不锈钢水龙头;装修年代超过15年。结论早晨使用自来水应该放掉过夜的自来水(约5 min);使用质量合格的PPR水管作为家庭水管;使用符合标准的黄铜、不锈钢水龙头作为饮用水水龙头;装修年代超过15年考虑重新装修。 Objective To study the impacts of different materials of water pipes and faucets,overnight,decoration age and other factors on the microelement concentrations in tap water. Methods Microelement concentrations in tap water from 46 households in Shanghai city were detected by the use of an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry( ICP-MS) method. Effects of water pipes and faucets materials,overnight and other potential factors on the concentrations of microelements were analyzed.Results Test results of the tap water samples met the national standards for drinking water. However,multiple factorsmight contribute to the significantly increase of certain micrielements,including overnight,PVC and galvanized pipes,PVC and ferruginous varnished faucets,faucets made of some kinds of brass and stainless steel,and decorated 15 years ago. Conclusion This study proposes the following suggestions: Turn on the faucet to let the overnight water running for five minutes every morning before using the tap water; Use water pipes made of qualified PPR material; Use drinking water taps made of up-to-standard brass and stainless steel; Redecoration should be taken into consideration after 15 years.
