天山三工河地区山地、平原、湖泊、沙漠俱全 ,自然带图谱完整。文章论述了该区地貌的形成和特征 ,地貌类型及生态环境特点 ,探讨地貌过程对生态环境的作用和影响 。
Located in the northern slope of Mount Bogda in the Tianshan Mountains and the southern margin of Junggar Basin, the region of Sangong River is consisted of the watersheds of Sangong River, Sigong River and Shuimogou River, which rise in Mount Bogda and flow into Junggar Basin from south to north. From the higher elevation to the lower one, the region is in a geographical succession of the alpine snow-glacier zone, sub-alpine periglacial meadow zone, mid-mountain forest zone, low-hill semi-desert-desert zone, plain deserts, oases and sand deserts. The region has been listed as one of the typical regions of the arid areas in MAB, an international research program, because of its complete natural patterns. Experienced repeatedly the evolution of sea and land, the geomorphy in the region of Sangong River is composed of three main morphologic units, i.e., the mountain land, plains and deserts. In this region, the structural landforms, such as anticline, monocline and plantation surface, are very clearly cut. From the higher elevation to the lower one the exogenic process of the climatic landforms is in an order of glaciation, periglaciation (freezethaw action), dryness action, running water action, alluvial-diluvial sedimentation, and sand drift action; and the anthropogenic process is increasingly intensified along with population growth. The geomorphy in the region is basically characterized by the great elevation difference between the mountain land and the plains, obvious mountainous stratified landforms, zonal climatic landforms, and clear paleochannels and alluvial-diluvial fans. The main geomorphic types are the aeolian, hydrologic, arid, periglacial, glacial and loess landforms. The ecological environment corresponding to theses 6 types is different.
