摘要
以巴赫金的复调理论为轴心,从文化批评视角分析《水浒传》两个英译本中的意识形态和权力关系复调。通过揭示翻译的对话性本质及文化批评的复调性内涵,发现译作在意识形态上的异质性构成了一个多声共鸣的复调。同时,翻译作为话语,既是权力的产物,也是权力的生产者,翻译中的权力源于外部的社会权力机构和内部的译者主体性,各译本中的权力关系既保持独立性,又相互对话,共同构成了更大语境下的权力关系复调。
Based on Bakhtin, s Polyphony theory, this paper investigates the polyphony of ideologyand power relations in two English versions oiShui Hu Zhuanirom the perspective of cultural criticism.By disclosing the interlocutory nature of translation and the polyphonic connotation of culturalcriticism, it is found that the heterogeneity of ideology within translations constitutes the heteroglossiapolyphony. Meanwhile,translation,as discourse, is produced by power and in turn produces power.The power of translation originates from the external social power institution and the translator' s subjectivity.The power relations within each translation are both independent and interlocutory, yet theyunite into polyphonic power relations of a broader context.
