经由一代又一代批评家对果戈理文学遗产的持续开采,果戈理之丰厚与多彩的艺术"肖像"被多维度地展现出来。果戈理艺术之最大的闪光点,就是他善于对存在的形而下与形而上层面予以双向度呈现,善于对现实生活令人发怵的被肢解与被分化过程予以艺术的揭露,善于对完整生命令人震惊的被碾碎被窒息过程予以生动的展示,善于对生存意义之荒诞可怖的被僵化被阉割过程予以形象的叙写。这"含泪的笑"比幽默讽刺要广博得多,它具有形而上的意蕴,能鞭挞庸俗净化灵魂。正是这葆有形而上意蕴而"含泪的笑",召唤着一代又一代读者沉潜于果戈理的文学世界。
With generations of critics' relentless effort in the exploration of Gogol's literary legacy, Gogol's rich artistic "portrays" are exposed in diverse dimensions. The highlight of Gogol's art is embodied in his presentation of the physical and metaphysical existences, skillful revelation of the dissection and differentiation of reality and vivid demonstration of astonishing crushing and suffocating of life, and the iconic narration of the absurd process of petrifaction and castration. The "tearful laughter" is more "meaningful than humor and irony"; the "tasteful" smile possesses metaphysical meaning with the magic power of scourging the philistinism and purging the soul. The "tearful laughter" pregnant with "metaphysical meaning" calls on generations of readers to be immersed in Gogol's literary world.
