摘要
王莽货币制度改革是中国货币史上的光辉一页,其货币发行数量之大、品种之多、更易之快令人瞩目。运用历史文献、考古材料方法对王莽四次币制改革的路径与动机、货币的形制与式样进行考察,以说明不同币种在当时社会所产生的影响力。在当代经济学视角下观察王莽所推行的货币政策,蕴含多种经济理论,如通货膨胀、兑换比例、货币职能、经济基础与上层建筑、虚值货币等,尤其是虚值货币所提倡的大额货币、货币符号理论具有超前意义,其科学性和前瞻性是值得当代经济学领域所研究的。
Wang Mang＇s monetary system reform is a brilliant page in the history of China＇s currency.It has a large number of publications anda large variety of products. By using historical documents andarchaeological materials, the author reexamined the path and motivation of Wang Mang＇s four currency reform, the form and style of money to illustrate the influence of different currencies on the society at thattime. It has advanced significance to observe the monetary policy pursued by Wang Mang from the angleof contemporary economics, which contains many economic theories, such as inflation, exchange ratio, monetary function, economic base and superstructure, virtual currency etc. especially the theory of currencysymbol which is advocated by virtual value currency. Its scientific and prospective value is worth studyingin the field of contemporary economics.
