摘要 科南特是当代美国最具影响力的教育家之一,他坚持教育是一个社会过程的基本理念,引领哈佛大学向世界一流大学迈进,为处在改革十字路口的中等教育指明前进方向,给权力纷扰的教师教育注入新的活力,堪称教育各领域革新的策划师。《小镜头大视野——科南特与当代美国教育改革》作为国内首部精研科南特教育思想与实践的整合之作,全面考察了他在各领域改革的主张与实践效果,动态分析了他的教育思想演进轨迹与参与改革的行为特色,揭示了支撑他教育改革的基本逻辑。 As one of the most influential educators in contemporary America,J.B.Conant stuck to the basic idea that education is a social process.For leading Harvard to move towards world-class universities,pointing out the direction of the medium education at the crossroads,giving new energy to the power-entwined teacher education,he was considered to be a reform planner.James B.Conant and the Educational Reform in Contemporary U.S.is the first integrated work on the educational thoughts and practices of Conant in China.The author had examined his reform claims and practice effects in various fields comprehensively,and analyzed the evolution of his educational thought and behavioral characteristics,and revealed the basic logic underpinning its educational reform in the book.
